PHE Sealing Solutions manufactures Manhole gaskets, which are used in processing pipeline systems for the food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical and bio-tech industries. The products are manufactured from EPDM, Viton, NBR, and Silicone. Manway seals, commonly known as manhole seals, are small hatches designed to give personnel access to vessels used for production. Manway or Manhole gaskets are used in sealing these hatches. In order to provide efficient sealing, the gaskets need to have high heat resistance and low compression set. For this purpose, Silicone is widely used to make Manhole gaskets as it maintains its sealing effect over time. Silicone also has an operational temperature resistance of 230°C, which makes it an ideal material to be used in beverage industry.
